TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Enrollment & Registration

All students must complete the registration process and provide accurate personal information.

Registration is confirmed only after payment of the required fee.

Students under 18 must be registered by a parent or guardian.

2. Class Structure

Classes are divided into levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Placement is based on experience and instructor evaluation.

Punctuality and discipline are expected. Repeated absences without notice may result in dismissal from the batch.

Students must wear appropriate attire and ghungroos during class (online or offline).

 

3. Fees & Payments

Fees must be paid in full before the start of the class cycle.

All payments are non-refundable unless a cancellation is made by the academy (see Section 6).

Late payments may result in removal from class or restriction from accessing lesson material.

 

4. Online Classes & Content

Enrolled students receive access to live sessions and/or recorded lessons based on the selected plan.

Sharing class links, recordings, or lesson materials outside of the academy is strictly prohibited.

All online content is protected by copyright and remains the intellectual property of Nrityashree Kathak Academy.

 

5. Code of Conduct

Students are expected to maintain respect for the instructor, fellow dancers, and the art form.

Harassment, misconduct, or disruptive behavior will lead to immediate removal from the academy without refund.

The academy reserves the right to deny admission or remove any student at its discretion.

 

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Fees are non-refundable once the session has started.

If a class is canceled by the academy (due to holidays, emergencies, or instructor illness), a make-up class will be provided.

In case of personal withdrawal before the start of a session, partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

 

7. Photography & Media Release

By enrolling, you grant us the right to use your photographs, videos, or performances for promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing.

Media from workshops or public events may be shared on our website and social platforms.

 

8. Intellectual Property

All choreography, teaching material, lesson videos, and training content are the intellectual property of Nrityashree Kathak Academy.

Reproduction, distribution, or use for commercial purposes without permission is a violation of copyright law.

 

9. Health & Liability Disclaimer

Dance involves physical activity. Students are advised to consult a physician before joining.

The academy is not liable for any injuries sustained during in-person or online sessions.

Parents are responsible for minors during online classes.

 

10. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website.
